The stage for the second National Tribal Dance Festival is ready in Raipur. A fair of tribal culture will be held here for the next three days from Thursday. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the festival at 11 am. Governor Anusuiya Uikey will be the chief guest at the evening performance.

The inaugural session will start with a march past of artists from India and abroad including Chhattisgarh. After the address of the guest leaders, dancers from Nigeria, Palestine, Chhattisgarh and Tripura will perform from 12.30 to 2 pm. After that all the guests will inaugurate the exhibition at the venue.

After this the competitions of Tribal Dance Festival will start. A dance competition will be organized on the mode of marriage ceremony from 2.30 pm. It includes Karma dance, Karma of Madhya Pradesh, Kodsi of Jharkhand, Gojri dance of Jammu and Kashmir, Gurayaballu of Andhra Pradesh, Karbi-Tiva of Assam, Dimsa of Andhra Pradesh, Dhap of Odisha, Kommukoya of Telangana, Dandar of Madhya Pradesh, Odisha Ka Bonda and Mewasi dance of Gujarat will be performed.

From 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm, traditional festivals and rituals, competition of dances of harvest-agriculture and other traditional forms of dance, Karma dance of Chhattisgarh, Jhinjhi Hanna of Uttarakhand, Gusadi-Dimsa of Telangana, Oraon of Jharkhand and Siddhi Goma dance of Gujarat There will be a presentation.

The color of exotic African and Uzbeki culture at night

From 8 pm to 9.30 pm, folk dancers from abroad will perform their art and culture. The protest will take place in the presence of Governor Anusuiya Uikey and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. There will be performances by dancers from Swaziland, Uzbekistan and Mali.

Tomorrow the Chief Minister of Punjab will be the Chief Guest

Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi will be the chief guest on the second day of the National Tribal Dance Festival. Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant is going to preside over this session at 8 pm. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will also participate in this. The prize distribution of the function will be done on October 30 at 8 pm.
