The Director General said that the retrenched workers should be called on duty without delay as per the order of the Health Minister. In case of negligence, the Civil Surgeon himself will be responsible for departmental action.

Strict action will be taken against the Civil Surgeon who does not take back the contract employees who have been removed from their jobs in the Haryana Health Department. The department has taken a tough stand on not implementing the order issued by Health Minister Anil Vij in June 2021. The Director General, Health Services has issued fresh orders to the Civil Surgeons of 11 districts to take the retrenched personnel on duty.
In the letter, the Director General has asked the Civil Surgeons of Yamunanagar, Kaithal, Rohtak, Jind, Jhajjar, Kurukshetra, Ambala, Sirsa, Palwal, Bhiwani and Sonipat to immediately implement the Health Minister’s order of June 10, 2021. The employees of outsourcing policy part-1, who were removed from the job in the year 2020-21 or before, should be called on duty immediately. Removing them from duty is a serious matter. Despite the orders of the Minister, the government has taken strong cognizance of the removal of the employees.

The Director General said that the retrenched workers should be called on duty without delay as per the order of the Health Minister. The action taken report should be sent to the office of the Director General within 15 days. In case of negligence, the Civil Surgeon himself will be responsible for departmental action.
State President of Sarva Karmachari Sangh Subhash Lamba said that this issue was being raised continuously. Hundreds of health contract workers have been fired. He has played the role of a leading warrior during Corona. Therefore, Health Minister Anil Vij was requested to take these personnel on duty.
